The following three sets of pictures each feature two images taken from exactly the same angle, but from different time periods. Work with a partner to first describe each picture and then compare and contrast the images.
Describe – what is in the picture? What is in the foreground and background? What are people wearing?
Compare – discuss the similarities
Contrast – discuss the differences.
Additionally, see if you can guess from which era the photographs were taken.
